StreamEngine technology network optimizer
Thanks to the advanced Quality of Service functionality the Media Router automatically classifies applications that are carried out within the network and prioritizes time-sensitive media traffic. This technology, called StreamEngine, guarantees optimal wireless or wired performances for applications such as audio and High Definition videos streaming, VoIP, gaming and downloading applications without interference. The StreamEngine technology is activated automatically, so there are no settings or additional software required. Moreover the router can handle up to 30.000 simultaneous open connections, ensuring that streams or downloads can be carried out seamlessly for multiple users in the network.
Concurrent Dual-band technology
The advanced Dual-band technology offers two wireless frequencies which can be used simultaneously and separately: the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band. Full advantage that can be taken of this Media Router is by using the less crowded 5 GHz frequency for time-sensitive media applications such as streaming audio and High Definition videos, online gaming, downloading files and VoIP with maximum wireless speed and without any video or audio interference. The standard 2.4 GHz band can be used for email applications and to browse through the Internet.
Wireless 802.11n draft 2.0 and Wired Gigabit Network
The Wireless Media Router supports the latest wireless technology 802.11n draft 2.0 and therefore the user can count on optimal performance with speeds up to 300 Mbps on both wireless frequencies. The built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100/1000 Switch enables the user to connect wired-Ethernet devices at gigabit speed, which is up to 10 times faster than a standard network. Moreover the WL-350 is equipped with two internal antennas on each access points to strengthen the range of the wireless network. Thanks to the extended range technology (XR), this Media Router guarantees superb coverage and reduces “dead spots” in the places where the signal is weak.
“Out of the box” security and easy setup
Sitecom has simplified the process of security and installation. The WL-350 is standard fully “out of the box” secured with WPA2, so the user can take full advantage of a secured wireless network. The Media Router is equipped with the OPS (One-push Setup) hard button, so the user can easily establish a secure wireless connection with just the push of a button and without any complicated installation of additional software.
Moreover the device enables internet traffic management thanks to the advanced Scheduled Access Control function that indicates for each computer at which set times use can be made of the Internet and to which pages access can and cannot be granted
Design

Wireless Media Adapter
Besides the WL-350 Sitecom introduces the WL-329 SL Wireless Media Adapter 300N, which in combination with the Wireless Media Router, is the ideal solution for users who want to create a high-speed wireless home network with two wireless frequency levels. The WL-329 SL transmits signals on the 2.4 GHz or less crowded 5 GHz frequency which offers optimal wireless performances for time sensitive traffic without any audio or video interference. In order to provide maximum comfort the WL-329 SL is equipped with a cap holder to easily keep the adapter and cap together to avoid loss.
